Started in 2007, GPI Prototype and Manufacturing Services is a leader in the dynamic field of 3D metal printing, also known as additive manufacturing. Providing direct metal laser melting (DMLM) services in Lake Bluff, IL, GPI has the expertise to take our clients from early prototyping all the way to finished, small to medium run manufacturing. Description:
Works heavily in both companies and under the direction of the President and Sales Manager on projects and tasks including sales forecasting and becoming the subject matter expert of our CRM - ACT database; will also provide ACT user training and manage/implement changes to ACT. Serves as a primary resource for sales teams to understand business policies, reporting, ACT processes, procedures and assists in problem solving a variety of issues. Will support both new reporting initiatives and ongoing reporting needs using a variety of tools crossing numerous data sources, in order to provide insight to support key strategic priorities.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using CRM software. ACT is preferred.
  • High School Diploma
  • Citizenship Requirement

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partners with President and Sales Manager to monitor and track effectiveness of sales performance, activities based performance metrics, tradeshows and conference efforts and report results;
  • Provides reporting and analysis on sales programs, sales rep performance and other ad hoc reporting as needed;
  • Utilize ACT reporting capabilities to provide analysis and actionable metrics for sales leadership through the use of ACT dashboards and reports; along with ACT reconciliation and reporting
  • Define and clarify tactical reporting solutions to support Sales effectiveness, including requirements gathering, development, documentation and support.
  • Maintains Sales information on internal systems such as ACT and email distribution lists
  • Identify potential data-integrity and other reporting issues, and liaise with management to determine a resolution of internal systems.
  • Perform quality reviews of developed solutions and ensure proper user acceptance
  • Actively consults with the President and Sales Manager and sales leadership on complex operational data needs;
  • Acts as a liaison between Sales and internal departments.
  • Assigned to ad-hoc projects as required
  • Responsible for all tradeshow and conference participation, including signup, booth requirements and for the sales team, travel arrangements
  • Completes administrative tasks as directed by President and Sales Manager
